Michel Stamp Catalog for Central Europe
This Hardcover Edition is 832 pages and covers the following areas: Slovakia, Czech Republic, Czechoslovakia, Hungary and West Hungary
The editorial improvements are spread over the entire work. With the help of new research results, we were able to add or correct issue dates, circulation figures and validity notes across all areas. In Slovakia, we discovered a reissue with a new perforation on the stamp for the inauguration of President Čaputová. The failure of intaglio printing led to significant misprints in the Czech Republic: stamps without value indication or country name. A pad without a hologram foil also slipped through quality control.
Another focus was on reviewing and updating the price quotations. Slovak perforation varieties from the years 1943/44 are still on the way up. We also register demand for current souvenir sheets or miniature sheets that show interesting motifs. In the Czech Republic, it is mainly complete miniature sheets of greeting stamps that win. Even stamped mass-produced goods from the communist era of Czechoslovakia can increase in price. This volume contains all the new products recorded up to and including issue 2/2025 of the MICHEL-Rundschau.
