Michel Stamp Catalog for Alpenlander (Alpine Mountain Countries)

This Hardcover Edition covers the following areas:

Liechtenstein, Austria, Switzerland, UN Geneva, UN Vienna

In Liechtenstein we discovered a number of new varieties. Perforated pieces appeared from all stamps of the 1941 issue for the promotion of domestic agricultural products. The variety “missing colour” in the souvenir sheet issue for the stamp exhibition LIBA 1972 is now also found in cancelled condition. We also added validity notes to the defunct stamps from the years 1967 to 1995.

In Austria, too, things are getting exciting with the varieties: There are not only two new perforation varieties, but also the first variant of a crypto brand. The Panda block from 2020 lacks hot foil printing here. Another special chapter is unissued stamps. In order to increase clarity, we have rewritten the two issues from 1945 and provided comprehensive illustrations. We are now consistently pointing out the end of validity of the Schilling stamps with a footnote for all affected issues. The same applies to the schilling stamps of the United Nations with headquarters in Vienna.

Good thermals carry the Swiss flight marks of 1913 to higher price quotations. Also in Switzerland, we were able to supplement the circulation figures of another brand year. This volume contains all the new products recorded up to and including issue 2/2025 of the MICHEL-Rundschau
