Michel Scandinavia Stamp Catalog
This Edition is 834 pages and covers the following areas:
Denmark (including Faroe Islands and Greenland), Iceland, Norway and Sweden
- The Faroe Islands surprise with perforation variations on six stamp booklets from 2022 to 2024: For the production of FDCs, the postal administration used unpunched booklets with only a printed perforation.
- In Norway, too, there are new research findings on stamp booklets, which we have incorporated into several postage stamp issues. Seven new illustrations of Old Norway also ensure an almost complete color reproduction of the stamps.
- A closer look at the Greenlandic issue “Expeditions in Greenland,” published in 2009, reveals differences in the printing imprints on the sheet and souvenir sheets. We were also able to include a new batch of postal sales figures in the catalog.
- In Iceland, collectors can now find a notation for the expiration date on all stamps from 1950 to 1982. The highest price increase is for an Icelandic stamp from the 1902 overprint issue.
- This volume contains all new issues recorded up to and including issue 6/2025 of the MICHEL Rundschau.
