The editorial improvements are distributed throughout the entire work. On January 2, 2020, the postage validity of over 800 stamps expired in Belarus. We have now added a corresponding note to the affected issues. In Poland, we also added information about the withdrawal of stamps from circulation for nearly 2,500 MICHEL numbers. Additionally, we included the positional variations of the security perforation on Polish inverted printings.
Another focus was on reviewing and updating the price quotations. This time, we took a close look at Poland. Collectors are currently interested in used stamps from the 1950s, which, due to their short validity period, are rarely found with verifiable postmarks. However, Polish local issues and modern joint printings are also being traded at higher prices. We see a volatile market in Ukraine; Patriotic motifs and stamps with war themes are in particularly high demand.
