This Wood & Glass Top Coin Display Case is built for the latter — a handcrafted solid wood case finished in rich mahogany, featuring smoothly sanded edges and ornate brass-toned hardware that speaks to the quality of the collection inside.
The star of the case is its crystal-clear real glass lid. Unlike acrylic or plastic alternatives, genuine glass delivers optically pure viewing with zero yellowing, zero distortion, and none of the fine scratches that cloud lesser display cases over time. It opens fully flat on its hinge for unobstructed access, then closes with a satisfying brass snap-lock closure that keeps dust and handling to a minimum between viewings. What's behind the glass deserves to be seen exactly as it is — and real glass makes sure of that.
Brass-toned wall-mounting fittings are built into the frame, making this equally at home on a display shelf or mounted as a centerpiece on the wall.
Inside, a fitted royal blue velvet tray holds 8 graded coin slabs and/or certified coins up to 63mm x 85mm (PCGS, NGC, ANACS, etc.) — each one cradling your coin slab securely without contact between pieces. Designed with the serious numismatist in mind, this case is well-suited for graded coin slabs & certified coin collections.
