MICHEL Description: Our editorial improvements can be found throughout this whole edition. Concerning Yugoslavia, a second plate flaw was discovered on the King Peter postage stamps, which is consequently also found on the overprinted stamps of the Independent State of Croatia (NDH). We were also able to identify seven additional new varieties in that area. Furthermore, we discovered designers’ signature marks on the Serbian stamps issued on the occasion of the 2024 and 2025 Day of the Stamp. Regarding Slovenian obligatory tax stamps, we were finally able to clarify the fact that the last official issue dates from May 2018. All subsequent issues are merely private donation stamps, which we have therefore excluded from the catalogue.

There have also been some developments regarding prices: In Serbia as well as in Bosnia and Herzegovina, interesting motifs have enjoyed slight increases in value. In regards to Kosovo, the Woodrow Wilson stamp stands out since it has tripled in value. The value of Variant II of the first Slovenian postage stamps from 1991 has even increased six-fold. And some individual varieties from Trieste, imperforate type variations from Croatia and nearly all North Macedonian surcharge stamps have seen price increases as well.
