Countries/Regions: Denmark, Faroe Islands, Iceland, Norway, Sweden
MICHEL Description: The Faroe Islands have a surprise in store for us – perforation variations found on the issues of six stamp booklets from 2022 to 2024: For the production of FDCs, the postal administration used imperforate booklets with a perforation that is only printed on the stamps. Regarding Norway, there are new research findings on stamp booklets as well, which we have included in the details listed about several issues of postage stamps. Seven new photos in the collection area of Old Norway also make the color reproduction of the issues nearly complete.
If you take a close look at the “Expeditions in Greenland” issued by Greenland in 2009, you will notice differences in the printers’ imprints on the stamp sheets and blocks. Furthermore, we were able to include a new batch of postal sales figures in this edition of the catalogue. Concerning Iceland, collectors will now find a note about the expiration date of all stamps between 1950 and 1982. An Icelandic stamp from the 1902 overprint issue boasts the highest price increase.
This volume features all novelties introduced in MICHEL Rundschau up to and including No. 6/2025.
