Description
The SAFE Gold Embossed Base Label is the essential building block of your personalized album spine labeling system. Each label features the same elegant black foil background and gold embossing as our full label lineup — but with a simple centered hyphen, leaving space on either side for you to apply your own year dates or custom printed text. Base labels are most commonly used alongside our SAFE Year Date Labels to create custom year range labels — simply apply your desired year dates on either side of the hyphen to display the exact date range of your album's contents. While designed with album and binder spines in mind, these versatile labels can be applied to virtually any smooth surface — storage boxes, file folders, display cases, and more.

Please note: These labels do not adhere well to the SAFE Classic: Morocco Edition binders due to their rough pebble-textured finish. If you're looking for a binder to label, we recommend selecting a smooth-finish SAFE binder instead.
Collector's Tip: Base labels work best when paired with SAFE Year Date Labels — available in 5-year increments from 1840 through 2029 — to build a fully customized year range label for every album on your shelf. And once your albums are labeled, consider adding the SAFE Album Sliding Track to glide any album off the shelf effortlessly without disturbing the rest of your collection.
