The drawer ships with a thick, blank royal blue velvet insert — no pre-punched holes, no fixed grid, no compromises. Simply press your pin through the velvet and secure whatever backing it uses on the reverse: butterfly clutch, rubber backing, locking clutch, safety pin, or brooch backing. Hard enamel, soft enamel, cloisonné, offset-printed button pins — every pin style works, and every backing type holds. The dense velvet grips pins firmly without damaging the finish.
The insert holds approximately 80 pins, though the actual count varies depending on pin size, shape, and how you choose to arrange them — prioritizing flexibility for every collector. Space them out to spotlight a prized piece, or pack a section tightly to show off a complete series.
Each drawer sits inside a crystal-clear acrylic frame so your collection is on display without opening anything. Frames lock securely together, letting you stack drawers as your collection grows and integrate them into an existing cabinet or display shelf — no dedicated case required.
