The lightweight metal frame clips over your own glasses in a black matte finish, and the monocular lens flips up out of the way the moment you don't need it — no fumbling for a loupe between pieces.
The 35mm circular lens is made from PXM optical plastic with Eschenbach's Cera-Tec coating, so it resists scratching through years of regular use, and it's set roughly two inches from the eye for a comfortable working distance rather than the close eye strain of a handheld loupe. The rubber tips on the clamps protect your existing eyewear, and the frame fits most eyeglass styles.
