SAFLIPS are the numismatic community's trusted choice for archival coin storage — and for good reason. Made entirely from polyethylene terephthalate (Mylar), these flips contain absolutely no PVC, oils, plasticizers, or chemical additives that could cause spotting, toning, or long-term surface damage to your coins. Mylar's extremely low permeability also acts as a barrier against dust and moisture, making these flips equally reliable for short-term handling and long-term archival storage.
Each flip features two separate but connected pockets: one to securely house your coin, and a second perfectly sized for a label, tag, or description slip — essential for collectors who catalog by date, mint mark, grade, or provenance. The double-pocket design also ensures your coin never makes contact with any insert or handling surface.
At the universal 2×2" (approximately 50mm x 50mm folded) standard size, SAFLIPS are compatible with virtually all coin storage systems, pages, and boxes.
Notably, these flips are fully compatible with NGC coin grading submissions.

Collector's Tip: Always write your label or description slip in pencil or archival-safe ink before inserting it into the flip — some regular pen inks can bleed or react over time. When submitting to NGC or any grading service, include your submission line number directly on the label inside the flip so your coin can never be mismatched during the grading process.
