In the military, a challenge coin is rarely just a coin. It is passed along in a handshake to recognize a job well done, minted to mark a unit, a deployment, or a ceremony, and carried as a sign of belonging. Over a career, those coins become a record of where someone served and who they served with.
Too often, that record ends up in wooden racks, shadow boxes, or display stands that show one side of a handful of coins while the rest sit in a drawer. This album package is an alternative that keeps the whole collection together and in view. Each coin gets its own pocket, and both sides stay visible, from the unit crest on the front to the motto on the reverse.
Each of the 5 included pages has 12 top-opening pockets measuring 2-5/8" x 2-5/8" (67 mm x 67 mm), for 60 pockets to start. That's enough room for the standard 1-1/2" to 2" challenge coin sizes. The pages are archival polyester with no PVC, and you can add more as the collection grows.
It's also a meaningful way to preserve an inherited collection. A parent's or grandparent's service often survives as a box of coins, insignia, medals, papers, and photographs. With the Collecto system, all of it can live in one album alongside the coins.
