Shipping & Delivery Policy

All in-stock items are always shipped out within 24–48 hours. 99% of orders ship the same or next business day via UPS or USPS (carrier selected at our discretion). You'll receive an order confirmation and tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.

Some of our products are imported directly from Germany. If an item you order is temporarily out of stock or on special-order, it may be placed on backorder.

•     Estimated lead time is approximately 4–10 weeks. This is a best-effort estimate, not a guarantee — it depends on production timing in Germany, ocean freight schedules, port and dock conditions, customs processing, and other factors outside our control.

•     Once a backordered item arrives at our warehouse, it ships the next business day.

•     Contact us anytime for a status update on a backordered item.

•     Orders under $99.00: $9.95 flat rate

•     Orders $99.00 and over: FREE

These ship separately from Continental U.S. rates:

•     Minimum charge: $29.95

•     $19.95 if your order fits in a USPS Flat Rate Box

•     Otherwise, cost is calculated by weight

We ship to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and U.S. Territories via USPS. Due to high theft rates, we may not be able to ship to other international destinations at this time. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout by weight and destination, with the following minimums:

•     Canada: $39.95 minimum, up to $79.95 for moderate-sized orders, weight-based above that

•     All other eligible destinations (Australia, New Zealand, U.S. Territories): $59.95 minimum, up to $99.95 for moderate-sized orders, weight-based above that

We recommend combining items into one order where possible to keep per-unit shipping cost down.

•     International payment must be made via PayPal, Amazon Pay, or Apple Pay.

•     Freight is prepaid by SAFE — you should never be charged additional freight costs.

•     Customs duties, taxes, and tariffs are the recipient's responsibility; we can't control or predict what your country charges.

•     Address correction fee: if you enter an incorrect shipping address and the carrier charges a correction fee, that fee (up to $15.00) is passed on to you — this is outside our control.

•     UPS "Signature on File": if you have a signature release on file with UPS, they may leave a package without a signature even though we ship it Signature Required. Because that agreement is between you and UPS, SAFE isn't responsible for non-delivery in that case. Request USPS at checkout if you'd rather avoid this.
