A 4x handheld magnifying glass is often the first tool a collector reaches for, and this one keeps to the fundamentals: a true glass lens, a protective metal rim, and nothing to charge or replace.
The 2" (50mm) glass lens gives a generous field of view, wide enough to take in a stamp, a coin face, or a section of a banknote in one look. Glass also resists scratching far better than acrylic, so the view stays clear through years of handling. The metal rim protects the lens edge when the magnifier is set down or carried to a show.
At 5-3/4" (145 mm) overall, it sits comfortably in the hand. Use it for sorting, checking centering and perforations, reading fine print, or examining a coin before it goes into a holder.
