SAFE is the ‘top-of-the-line’ album for collecting plate blocks – allowing you unlimited flexibility to organize your plate block album.
Prior to 1918, U.S. plate blocks were located in more than one position on the sheets. In addition, the trimming of the plate blocks with margin selvage was not uniform. These factors made it virtually impossible to design accurately sized boxes. Therefore no pre-printed hingeless album pages were produced for Regular Plate Blocks.
With various size stock pages available, there is no limitation on how and which type of plate blocks, vertical and/or horizontally arranged, can be collected within a SAFE Plate Block Album.
This album includes our #702 Classic Value Album with 5 pages each of #7733 and #7732 to get you started with both vertical and horizontal pocket heavyweight black double sided pages. Then you can add more of these or the larger (#734SP) and/or smaller (#7734) plate block pocket pages to create a customized Plate Block Album around your personal collection.
