Since our founding, SAFE® has always been connected to the global community—seeing that we retain the craftsmanship and ethos that set us apart all those years ago. Today, our customers know us by the unparalleled quality of our stamp and coin collecting supplies, as well as the famous SAFE® logo.
Maintaining close ties with our customers and our industry, we’re proud to be attending the 46th Annual New York International Numismatic Convention this year. A blending of the modern, the foreign, and the ancient, the NYINC is arguably the largest and most famous gathering of its kind; and we could not be more excited to return!
The 46th New York International Coin Show
Bringing together 115 leading specialists in world and ancient numismatics, this year’s New York International Coin Show will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel (as opposed to the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in previous years). Accessible by 109 East 42nd Street in New York, NY, and Grand Central Station, the Hotel will host eight days of auction sessions in the adjacent Empire State Ballroom.
Auction lot viewings will be paired with numismatic organization meetings as well as educational seminars, giving coin collectors and enthusiasts ample opportunity to mingle and appreciate the range of coins on display.
The Auction Sessions of the Convention
Cataloged and conducted by some of the world’s leading numismatic houses, the eight days of auction sessions will include: Heritage; Spink; Classical Numismatic Group; M&M Numismatics and Dmitry Markov; Sovereign Rarities; Kolbe & Fanning Numismatic Booksellers; along with a number of others.
Notably, Kolbe & Fanning Numismatic Booksellers will conduct their own specialty sale, eagerly awaited by bibliophiles the world over. SAFE® Collecting Supplies relishes the enthusiasm and the diversity of dealers and coin collectors that it witnesses at NYINC each year.
A Complementary Coupon from SAFE®
Because we want every coin-collecting enthusiast to experience the grandeur that is the NYINC, our email subscribers will receive a $5 coupon that they may print and apply towards a $20 pass of their own. The three-day pass will remain valid between Friday, January 12, 2017, and Sunday January 14, 2017. Any children ages 16 and under will be admitted into the convention free of charge—exposing a new generation to the art and height of numismatics.
