This year’s Mineral, Fossil, Gem & Jewelry Show in Edison, NJ, is lining up to be one of the event’s most exciting shows to date. With exhibits from across the country, you won’t want to miss out on this extraordinary event.

When and Where is it?

This year’s Mineral, Fossil, Gem & Jewelry show will once again be held at the NJ Expo Center located at 97 Sunfield Avenue in Edison, NJ. The event will span five days, April 4-8. Weekday hours are 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. while Saturday and Sunday go from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tickets are only ten to fifteen dollars, depending on age, and can be purchased online.


The Special Exhibit 2018

Titanoboa: Monster Snake from the Smithsonian Institute is this year’s primary exhibit, featuring an incredibly realistic life-size model of the mega-snake that ruled the ancient rainforests of South America millions of years ago.

For Dinosaur Lovers…

This year’s show will feature more dinosaurs than ever before thanks to the generous duo at Dinosaur Brokers, who are bringing their stunning collection of dinosaur skeletons to New Jersey.


Creepy Crawlies of the Ancient Sea

Trilobite Treasures: Arthropods of the Ancient Sea is an exciting adventure that dives into the ancient sea, shining light on the now extinct class of animals that once flourished across the prehistoric sea. Explore the fascinating creatures that thrived in our oceans for over 250 million years.

UV Mineral Display

Check out the Junior Ballroom which will feature an expansive ultraviolet mineral display, thanks to the Franklin Mineral Museum of Franklin, NJ. These fluorescent minerals glow under the UV light creating an amazing, awe-inspiring display.

For the Kids…

There are many entertainment options for the young ones at this year’s show. There will be a Dinosaurs Rock Kids Corner in which kids can dig for gemstones, fossils, build a giant dinosaur, and much more. They can also test out their metal detecting skills with East Coast Research & Discovery Association.

In addition to the many exhibits and activities, there will be over 400 booths featuring various exhibitors with unique products and displays.
